LEAP was developed with funding from Power to Change, the independent trust that supports community businesses in England. This seed funding allowed the RFT to develop the detail of the programme and secure investment for the programme.

The capital for the loans comes from Esmée Fairbairn FoundationThe A Team Foundation, CIVA and a donation from Jam Today.

The grants which are provided side by side with the loans are provided by the Halleria Trust.

The mentoring programme is funded by Power to Change and Esmée Fairbairn and we are an Access Point for the Reach Fund.

We are also developing a Social Impact Toolkit which will help with the measurement and reporting of the social impacts delivered by LEAP. This is also being funded by Power to Change.

Programme overheads are covered by interest received, fees and grants from Esmée Fairbairn Foundation and the Halleria Trust.

The Real Farming Trust would like to thank all of the above organisations for their support.

The investors and the grant provider are all represented on LEAP’s Investment Commmittee.
